A successful last edition for the cross-border colloquium “My project in 15 minutes”

Three pupils on stage

Like in a real scientific symposium, six graduation works covering scientific fields were presented by 13 students from Geneva and the Pays de Gex. The Frenchs presented their Travaux Pratiques Encadrés (the final baccalaureate research project undertaken in France) and the Swiss talked about their Travaux de Maturité (a similar project done by students in Geneva, Switzerland).

The six presentations covered a wide range of topics, from the structural design of bridges to brain plasticity, web profiling and cellular automata. Their high quality gave the audience a glimpse of the great care taken in their realization.

Cartoonist Barrigue, founder of magazine Vigousse and of the association CraysonSolidaires, dessiner pour tous, reacted live to the presentations.

The students present represented the last TPE generation, since this exercise has now been removed from the program of the French National Education. This edition of "Mon TPE / TM en 15 minutes" ("My project in 15 minutes") has very nicely closed eight beautiful editions of this project. But it does not represent the end of cross-border scientific exchanges!
