To celebrate Girls in ICT Day, CERN organises each year at the CERN Science Gateway a day of robotics and computing workshops for girls, tutored by CERN mentors.

A film festival featuring screenings, workshops, entertainment, meet-and-greets, short films and debates - all inspired by science!

Every 4-5 years, during a "long shutdown", CERN opens its doors to the public for two special days at the heart of one of the world’s largest particle-physics laboratories.

Three days of workshops for kids and pupils aged 10 to 18, around scientific and technological kits.

"Job Shadowing" internships are possible at CERN for secondary students , if this forms an obligatory part of their school programme.
