Did you know CERN hires not only physicists but mostly engineers, technicians and administrative staff? The laboratory hosts more than 10'000 physicists from all over the world, sent by their national institutions, but it needs about 2'500 staff to offer proper technical and administrative infrastructure to welcome these scientists.
