CERN Solar Club at the Lemanic Electric Tour

With the Photon, its solar electric car built in 1986, an electric Dyane and a Renault Twizy, the CERN Solar Club took part in the Lemanic Electric Tour, the first cross-border rallye for 100% electric cars around Lake Geneva on 2nd and 3rd June.

Organized by the Association of Electric Automobiles of the Pays de Gex and the region (VEGA) and the Electromobil Club of Switzerland (ECS), the objective of the LET 2018 was to promote electric mobility to demonstrate the dynamism of our territories in the field of soft mobility and to show that this eco-responsible orientation goes beyond borders.

This event was held one week after the Solar Photovoltaics Conference organized by CERN Solar Club at the Globe of Science and Innovation. Two specialists presented the reasons for success and the growth scenarios of photovoltaics worldwide. An evening full of discussion with the public who deepened its knowledge on one of the pillars of the energetic transition. Watch the recording of the conference.
