More than 600 Escalade runners trained at CERN

Not even the rain could stop the 600-plus runners who came to CERN on Sunday, 17 November, for a pre-Escalade training session.

Training

This was the first such collective training run hosted at CERN in preparation for the Geneva’s traditional Escalade race, which will take place on 30 November and 1 December, with more than 46 000 runners signed up this year. Runners of all ages congregated on the Esplanade des Particules for a group warm-up, before setting off on one of three routes.
