Did you know CERN hires mostly engineers, technicians and administrative staff? The laboratory hosts more than 10'000 physicists from all over the world, sent by their national institutions, but it needs about 2'500 staff to offer proper technical and administrative infrastructure to welcome these scientists.

Unpaid "Job Shadowing" internships are possible at CERN, if they are an obligatory part of the school programme. To apply and find out more information, visit this page. Do not forget to attach you CV and a letter of motivation in PDF if you want your application to be taken into account.

Your application will be sent to the different departments' supervisors. If a supervisor is interested in your profile and wants to welcom you for an intership, he or she will contact you directly.
